Lesson Plan for Tuesday, April
20th, 2010
(Please note below the requirements for the
lesson on April 27th)

“MEMORIES OF THE CAMPFIRE”
This light hearted topic using a strong dark
background and a subject bathed in light makes a dramatic subject.
The method used for this whimsical watercolour
will be lifting, glazing, wet-in-wet and some light drawing of figures by the
campfire.
Class is limited to 15. If you have any questions call 823-1905 or email ja864@yahoo.com
Cost:
$25 (no tax)
New
Painters need not bring anything. I always have an extra paint palette and
brushes you can borrow
PLEASE NOTE: On April 27th,
we will be working with textures. For
this abstract work of art, you will need spackling (Dry Dex purchased from any
Building Supply Store) and white glue (All Purpose White Glue can be purchased
at WalMart of facsimile).
Recipe for mixing texture: Three quarters Dry Dex to one part white
glue. This mixture can then be randomly
spread over watercolour paper. Allow to
dry for several days.
I will be bringing extra
prepared surfaces as well for you to use.
