Lesson Plan for Tuesday
December 8th, 2009
Topic: Fun Day –
Christmas Medley.
Taking
at least one quarter sheet of watercolor paper and cutting it into four pieces,
we will be painting several scenes: Christmas trees decorated for indoors or if
outdoors they are snow covered. We will
be painting snow men (or women), kids
throwing snow balls - anything that our imagination will take us. These small Christmas scenes will be great
gifts or gift cards.
Method: Who knows?
Brushes: 1” flat,
#10 round or any suitable brush of your choice.
Colours: Full Palette.
(The
brand I use is DVP, DiVinci Brand Artist’s quality but any brand will do).
Paper: A quarter
sheet of 140lb, 200lb or 300lb good quality watercolour paper. Brand names to consider
are Arches, Fabriano, Bockingford, TH Saunders Waterford or Windsor &
Newton. All are excellent for our
purposes.
Also
those who have acrylics, pastels and some sort of glitz bring it along, it will
add to the fun.
Water
Container, rags, sketch paper for exercises and notes.
