“TUNNEL OF LIGHT”
Acrylic:
This painting is all about light.
Approximately one third is very dark which intensifies the light even
more.
Colors: Naples Yellow, Cadmium Yellow Medium,
Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Cadmium Red Light, Titanium White, Yellow Ochre
and Burnt Sienna.
Support: I suggest one 16x20 Canvas or
smaller. You can also use a half sheet
of primed watercolor paper or *masonite board (primed with either Gesso or
White Latex Paint).
*Masonite board can be purchased at any Building
Supply store or Art Store.
NOTE: I have extra palettes of acrylic and
brushes for those who want to try it.
You will need a plastic
water container, rags (cotton towels are excellent), sketch paper for exercises
and note taking and a hairdryer is also useful.
