“PANSIES”

For the past several weeks, we have been painting wet-in-wet method.  This painting of colourful pansies is just the opposite.  Using a half sheet of paper, we will be using lots of colour and lots of water on a dry surface.  Brush strokes are simple, fusing pigment as we go along.  Most of the edges are hard making the subject strong, vibrant and fresh.

You will need a plastic water container, rags (cotton towels are excellent), sketch paper for exercises and note taking and a hairdryer is also useful. I recommend an inexpensive watercolor pad.

This will be a popular class – the topic is lively and fun, and because I like to limit the classes to fifteen, please reserve early to secure your space.  If you have any questions call 823-1905 or email ja864@yahoo.com

Cost: $25 (no tax)
