WATERCOLOR WITH PEN & INK

These
four quick little drawings are done on ordinary sketch paper using a drawing
pen, a permanent marker and watercolor.
One
advantage of this method is that if the artist has pen and paper on hand,
something of interest can be captured while the mood strikes. Recording color can be always be added later.
Another advantage is that it is a good way of editing what you see thereby
keeping the subject simple. These vignettes can be paintings in their own right
or used to develop into larger works of art.
Also, for
this lesson, bring in old paintings that need a little fixing up – pen and ink
is a wonderful tool to resurrect an otherwise wasted watercolor.
Class is limited to 15. If you have any questions call 823-1905 or email ja864@yahoo.com
Cost: $25 (no tax)
