Lesson Plan for Wednesday October 12th, 2011

“WINDOW OF COLOUR”

This painting is all about the crisp hard edges of the bright red leaves.

Anyone who wants to work in acrylic may do so.

Brushes: 1” flat, #10 round or any suitable brush of your choice.

Watercolors &/or Acrylic:  Full Palette.

For Watercolor, the brand I use is DVP, Di Vinci Brand Artist’s quality but any artist’s brand will do. Acrylic: Student or artist quality is fine.

Paper:   Any brand of no less than140lb. An inexpensive watercolor pad for practice is helpful.

Brushes: One inch flat and size 10 or 12 round (both mediums).

Other materials: Water container, rags and a plastic cloth for the work table.

Please bring sketch paper for exercises and note taking and also a hairdryer.
